The idea for creating the "Kalamata Convention Bureau" as part of the Messinian Chamber of Commerce and Industry started with the editing of the original Tourist Guide “Messinia, Alternative Greece ” and belongs to the president of the Messinian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. George Karabatos. While preparing the Tourist Guide, we saw that modern tendencies in tourism and current demands about services and information dictated some new suggestions that were impossible to be included in it. The “Kalamata Convention Bureau”, which was established at the same time as the Tourist Guide, is intended to promote special forms of tourism and cover every new demand.Organize your own feast in Messinia?
